Iz_Da_Bait, Bait, or Bubba was the owner and maintainer of 8b8t, and has been for pretty much it's entire life , even when co-owning it with SevereAutism. He recently sold it to Goose.
Early days[edit]
He is pretty much one of the oldest super oldfags on 8b8t, as he owns it. He has been hosting 8b8t since it's beginnings on an outdated laptop. It is speculated that Bait also owned a severely inactive hub server named Baitserv with the IP of game.baitserv.cf which had Factions, Skyblock, Bedwars, PvP and at one point Creative Anarchy.
Outside life[edit]
Little is known about Bait's past or current situation due to his success in retaining anonymity. A few players have seen his face from videos which are now privated. Bait is currently in a straight active relationship from what he has disclosed under DMs.
8b8t[edit]
He self-funded 8b8t for a majority of it's lifespan until 2020 when donations became sufficient for domain payments, an anti-DDoS dedicated platform and new hardware. Electricity remains one of the factors that risks the lifespan of 8b8t with costs averaging 40 to 60 Euros per month, but Bait remains calm when asked about the issue. On March 21st 2021, Bait decided to sell the server to another player called _G00S3 for an unknown amount of money. Ever since he has left the community and secretly stays in the discord on several alts.
